Third Thursday: Social Media in Marketing & PR

Third Thursday is a new meetup for Bay Area PR and marketing pros interested in learning more about social media tools and practices and exploring their practical application in marketing and communications. This is also a peer networking event.

Thursday, April 20th will be our kick-off meetup where Michael Arrington, the found of edgeio and the author of TechCrunch, a highly influential blog about Web 2.0 trends and technology, will be joining us to talk about the do’s and don’ts of engaging the blogging community, where TechCrunch has had success working with companies, and any insights, anecdotes, advice he might have for using new media in PR and marketing programs.

We'll be on the outside patio of F&A's and will start the discussion at 7PM, so come early to mingle and snack and stay afterward to do more of the same. Also, please note that while Third Thursday is a free event, participants will need to pay for their own food and drink. Looking forward to seeing you there!
